30 questions answers 1-15

1. What is Feminism?
A range of movements and ideologies that share a common goal: to define, establish, and achieve equal political, economic, cultural, personal, and social rights for women.

2. Do you think you are a Feminist? Why?
No, because I've never knew what feminism was before I started researching about it.

3. What are the good and bad points on being a Feminist.
Good: You can help spreading the idea that women and men should be treated fairly.
Bad: You might have to pay a high amount of money to take part in a feminism movement.

4. What would you do if your wage was different from male?
Complain about it inside the company first. If it didn't work, be a feminist.

5. How do you feel about feminism?
I think it is a good movement. It gives a chance to understand about women's rights and how women are treated differently.

6. Why do we have feminism movements?
Because there still are some places where treating women differently from men.

7. Would you like to take part in feminism movement?
If I have a chance. I would like to talk with people who is taking part in feminism movement.

8. Will feminism movement stop gender discrimination?
I hope so. To stop gender discrimination, feminism will play a very important role.

9. What is the difference between femisim and sexism?
Feminism is a movement and Sexism is a gender discrimination.

10. What is sexism?
Discrimination or devaluation based on a person's sex or gender, as in restricted job opportunities, especially such discrimination directed against women.

11. What kind of gender discriminations can you think of?
Sexual harrasment, wage difference, domestic violence... etc

12. What are the main issues women face in the workplace?
They often can't be in higher place like CEO.

13. Is the wage gap due to women raising children?
No. The gender doesn't matter.

14. Why don't we have women President in Japan?
Because we all have an image of  a male president or a prime minister.

15. How many women are the heads of state in the world?
17 women.

  1. The whole point of this blog is to show your RESEARCH findings. In order to do that you needed to refer to sources, summarize them, acknowledge them, and then make your own commentary on them. This blog entry doesn't show where you got the information, apart from the items that are purely opinion questions and not research questions at all. Also, when I asked you to come up with 30 questions I said that they should...

    * have answers that are currently unknown to you, but which you want to find out.
    * be answerable through research.

    This doesn't look like the fruits of 10 weeks of research.
